There's really very little to say. If you know where and what Joe Jost's is, this whole thing does very little for you. If you have no idea what a Joe Jost is or might be, you're the poorer for it.
Joe's began life as a barber shop 'way back in 1924. Old Joe put in a pool table and started serving beer to his waiting customers. Well, the city fathers could not and would not tolerate this sort of nonsense and they said to Old Joe: "Joe, you can cut hair or you can serve beer. You can't do both." Joe thought for a while and rightly said "Beer, you bastards! I choose BEER!"
Schooners range from $1.95 (Pabst) to $3.15 (Widmer Hefe, SNPA). Fabulous pickled eggs. Get a Special.
